Really like the way this years team seems to be able to win games even perhaps when they haven't brought their A game. Lots of games left with Montreal on the schedule. Big loss for them loosing Gallagher last night, shouldn't hurt our chances against them anyway. Must admit tough for me to watch complete games with the artificial crowd noise so I really don't know the answer to this but where has Jumbo Joe gone recently?

Campbell hasnot played well in his last two starts, but the Leafs managed to win both. Nothing in the last three games will give Leaf management any reason to put Andersen on LTIR and go the rest of the way with Campbell and Hutchinson. Alas, Reilly was really stinking it up on the blue-line tonight. but Calgary's D was even worse.

DISCLAIMER: I feel like I have to address this because of the amount of hate I get from Leafs-fans.... I do NOT hate Leafs, no way in hell, that's just a joke because they have always lost like in the first round when they are favourite to win the Cup. I would seriously love to see them win because they've had some REALLY bad luck in the near past, first sucking really hard, getting Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander etc, still not getting far and now they look even better. It's just that I see, for exampe, Andersen as a shitty playoffs goalie. He has had some baaaad luck in the past but now it seems he has had a descent backup goalie. Your defence is great, maybe would need some fixing, and your forward core is looking good but I just can't see it. You have great superstar caliber players but I feel like you need something more. Good luck for you tho, I ain't hating just joking alright?! Peace!

Well where do I even begin? Raptors made a 19 point comeback, win their 9th straight over the Wizards, drop the Wizards to their 4th straight loss, won by 2 points. Leafs scored on the 19th SOG, goalie(Born on 1/9) won his 9th straight game, won their 4th straight overall, won by 2 goals. 22 year old wearing the #33 for Toronto Raptors scored the game winning buzzer beater. #22 won in his debut for the Toronto Blue Jays. game was tied 2-2 and 3-3 at one point. Pascal Siakam #43 scored 22 points, Toronto scored the go ahead goal to make the score 4-3 on their 22nd SOG. a lot of coincidences... or maybe.... YOU CANNOT HAVE SCRIPTED THIS ANY BETTER.

I believe Matthews' wrist injury was much more serious than revealed. It seems to be coming back. After the injury, he almost never tried his one-timer from the right wing, or wrist shot from 40 feet from goal. The lack of one-timer potential basically shut down the Leaf power play, and the lack of long, hard wrist shots also weakened the power play. Even now, it is obvious that Matthews' wrist is not 100%, but he is finding new ways to score, which will make his overall game even more dangerous when healed. The biggest difference I notice between Matthews and McDavid as goal scorers-McDavid is a great skater, but he does not have a very hard or quick shot. Most of McDavid's goals are scored by skating close to the goalie and whipping a puck into the net from 10 feet out. Matthews can score from anywhere from the blue line to the goal crease. Both are great. both unique. Enjoy their game now, just like in soccer we have been lucky to watch both Ronaldo and Messi dominate the world. They are getting towards the end of their careers, while McDavid and Matthews are heading into their peak years. I remember in the late 1960's to early 1970's watching every Bobby Orr game I could catch; similarly in the 1960's catching every Bobby Hull game on TV. Later in the 1980's and 1990's we caught as many Gretzky and Lemieux games as possible. I missed the Montreal games of the 1950's, with their super team, or Detroit in the early 1950's-both all time great teams with many superstars.

Finally got a powerplay goal and we are back on a hot streak, hopefully this rolls into Wednesday

As a Leaf fan, I have to say that Calgary's short-handed goal was the prettiest goal of the game. Glad that Simmons has gotten out of a slump. Mathew's wrist shot is a radar guided missile. The guy has the fastest, hardest, most accurate wrist shot in the NHL.
