  • This episode helped Trisha allot seeing her vulnerable is good its make us see the REAL Trisha. Also it helped her fans to understand her more. But it helped her on how to approach and speak to ppl like think 5 steps ahead on wat she suppose to say to ppl, instead of blabbering it out then she gets mad enough to black out. But ethan getting a couple council help them out and us to understand her more.

  • After watching this, I have a whole different perspective and insight into Trish. She is complex, intelligent, self aware and a little troubled which makes her human just like the rest of us. It’s easy to criticise Internet personalities because they live such an inflammatory lifestyle which often involves criticising other people but this episode really highlighted her vulnerabilities and her ability to be honest with herself which was refreshing. There’s a lot of unaccountability in the internet world and this episode was an excellent way to bring awareness to that. Dr Drew and Ethan were great as well.

  • People that have been through childhood trauma can become chronic liars. I used to do it a lot. I take what Trisha says with a grain of salt, but I've always stuck with her because I understand. If even half the shit she says she's been through is true she has been through so much and I understand where she's coming from. She once stated that a man she was seeing locked her in his basement for a couple days and I just couldn't imagine. Even the public stuff with her and her exes is just so much.

  • I'm a little stunned. The way Trisha explained her dissociative states, and how brutally self-aware she was. Acknowledging and dissecting herself so genuinely it made me cry. I have never judged a person more wrong in my life. I personally know how hard it is to have so much mental anguish plaguing you, and how people cant understand that these mold you as a person. Fuck man I cant stop crying. I have the same Dissociative states Trisha talks about. Once something triggers whatever the fuck it is in the first place, I'm gone. My thoughts are not me. Feeling/Emotion is so numb its pretty much gone. I have no control of anything mental/physical. Dr. Drew should have highlighted this and explained its variability. Because being borderline or dissociating is the RESULT of all these mental traumas/disorders. Bad Analogy but the link of depression to suicide. Suicide isn't a disorder, its the end result. We need to educate people to stop just paying attention to the present moment with mental disorders. They are so complex, and vary extremely. But no-one talks about how that long-term changes your personality and how you can effortlessly but consciously, destroy everything in your life . If you ever start hating yourself to the point of dissociating from reality (BTW at least for me, when it happens, I know I'm there, I don't just shut off) Please Seek help immediately, You might not come back.

  • I must say, I didn't really understand Trish much before this. But I think I do understand a lot more now. as a person who also has delt with gender identity issues (I'm non-binary yet I fall on more of the fem boy part of the spectrum) and also have been diagnosed with borderline personality traits earlier this year, also not enough. for a full diagnosis but I was told I have bpd traits (starting DBT therapy very soon) I see a lot of myself in Trish. it's possible sometimes maybe Trish doesn't know how to express the things she's feeling in a way to make other understand where she's coming from and maybe that's where wires get crossed. But this video and having dr.drew there to navigate some of these issues has been eye opening.

  • This is long but on the off chance you guys see this I'm making the time. I stopped watching H3H3 a while back now, even unsubscribed. Had issues on my part of not being able to work Ethan out and not enjoying the content as much. Because I go on boughts of Trisha Paytas compilations every now and again this frenemies podcast kept on showing up. Gave a couple of clips a go for the lols but kept feeling uncomfortable because if felt like Trisha was there just to be taken the piss out of. Which can be hard for me to watch because I see a lot of my traits in her. I was diagnosed with BPD when I was 21 , a blessing and a curse. I did MBT (Mentalisation Based Therapy) for 18 months. Has a lot of similarities to DBT that Trisha is doing. So for a while I've always had the opinion that Trisha has BPD or at the very least a high amount of BPD traits. It's a rough disorder for people who have it and the loved ones of that person. This episode is the first full episode of frenemies I've watched. Went into it thinking everyone wasn't gonna take it seriously. It was so lovely to watch one of the most healthiest interactions i've seen in a while. And to see a plethora of comments saying things like "I feel like I understand Trisha better now...I can see where she's coming from," warms my heart. Ethan seeing the way you interacted with Trish in this episode reminded me of why I started watching you h3h3 when you first came about about. You're overall a 'good' person in my eyes, and can listen and apologise and know when you've messed up. I know Dr Drew really helped you guys open up and hear eachother. But even regarding your last fight with Trisha, towards the end seeing you actually feel bad and try to make things right meant a lot. When you rightly so could of just kept fighting fire with fire. I teared up a few times watching this, thank you for taking it seriously. I don't think all of you realise just how much good having a video like this out there does for people who can relate to it. BPD is hard to treat (If that's what Trisha has ofc), I'm glad Dr Drew said that an incident will happen again. Because it will. But seeing your willingness to work with Trisha is gonna do wonders for your friendship and benefit her recovery at the same time. Honestly good job Ethan, great moves, gonna resubscribe again, thank you. Sorry for the tldr essay uwu

  • I was worried at the start that Ethan was going to try and take some sort of a moral highground from how he was posturing himself as trisha started opening up and being vulnerable, but Dr Drew being there to point things out and help him understand better what she was going through feels like it really helped them both reach a new level together. As much as I come for the goofs and gaffs seeing two humans, who would generally be diametrically opposed, so earnestly attempt to care and understand eachother is beyond memes. This is a really inspiring series and I know they won't likely see many of these types of comments but I have to say thank you, as well as a thanks to everyone who catches the same vibe as I do, for this content. This wild crazy frenemies arc has a lot to teach us about being better people so here's to hoping for many seasons to come. Much love to everyone
