Fendt 1050 gets triples!

** Triple threat? 😂🤷🏼‍♂️ Installed the triples and looking forward to spring!
** Note: This was not the first time I have used triples, but last year I did NOT use the triples. I did Not notice any sufficient power differences between the duels vs the triples. (as it takes more power to turn the triples) but once you get down to the 2mph range, it's not about power, it's about traction..
But Note: This will not help with the lack of power issues I continue to face.

Too bad could've bought a real tractor made far stronger, more comfortable, smarter, faster stronger john deere. They want to make sex to you without your consent if you need to fix anything related to computer-electronics at all.

    • @Mike Mitchell that'a boy. Good answer. I was just talkin stupid it's a fckn awesome tractor, with a dam good reputation and has been out for abit so the little issues are ironed out and you know ahead of time what she's really good at and not so much for. And from what I understand isn't fendt at least alittle better when it comes to repair?

    • Hahaha we have lots of Deere's already, and they are good tractors too.. Just depends on what your use is for them..the Deere's are awesome at pulling a drill but suck hard at grain cart and Protill work compared to the 1050.. They are like tools in the tool box, they're all have purpose and are good at different things

  • What about removing the wheels weight first? I understand the benefits of spending weight, but I think your going in circles. I don't believe you need more traction on seeders but less pounds by square inch contact to earth. But look nice 👍

    Phil LerouxPhil Leroux16 dagar sedan
    • @Phil Leroux I am beginning to lean away from tracks, they are rough, expensive, and and in sometimes cases light on their feet.. Meaning depending on the weight of the unit can give you no more traction because of "weight per sq in" They good if you are worried about compaction tho

      Mike MitchellMike Mitchell16 dagar sedan
    • Yeah my point exactly up hill the weight shift to the rear... And with less than ideal ground moisture you sink at no cost remove the front weight but the rears... We took everything off it could be useful to hold big tanks on alsphat.... But fields. Tracks are game changer but like agility of wheels👌

      Phil LerouxPhil Leroux16 dagar sedan
    • You are right it won't help with power at all, probably even makes it worse haha.. But that's not why I put them on, and your right again about the duels holding the power to the ground in most cases. But the minute you want to climb a hill and get down to 2mph or so is when it's no longer about power.. Last year I was climbing a hill and spun myself down to a stuck.. With triples ateast you have a better chance of making it up that samw hill 🙂

  • Well if you were going down a two lane road with that and from the opposite direction came another tractor with triples then what? I think it was our IH 986 I was driving with duals pulling the manure tank and the right rear tires had to be on the shoulder in the gravel for the left rear tires to clear the roads center stripes. It was harder to back that tractor when it had duals on as it kept wanting to turn.

  • So I understand that Fendt is an American owned company via Massey Ferguson, but is mostly manufactured in Italy, Germany and parts of Asia. All are areas that restrict agricultural imports and manufacturing products from the states. Why would you support a company that comes from countries that don't buy from us? No more farm subsidies for you, period! Not debatable. Unsubscribed, bye.
