  • Hey Joey, thanks so much for the discus info, please keep it coming! What if instead of focusing on growing them out or breeding, but if you got a few medium discus, just to keep them, display and enjoy them, would it be okay to put them straight in to a scaped tank?

  • Joey!! This is awesome! For me, I find this very informative and useful, I just got 12 quarter sized angel fish and have them in a 46 gallon qt/growout tank, I will be following your 30% every 3 days recommendation and see how it goes. This was a great watch / listen as I am doing a 60% water change on a heavily planted 125 with 40 gallon sump for the first time in about 6 weeks. Thank you for being you!!

  • Thank you for your content, Joey. You inspire a lot of tank ideas throughout my 30 years of fish keeping. I remember the day you helped me set up my first trophus tank over 15 years ago on a web forum. I don't remember which one. I have been watching your videos ever since you started to post them. So here is my thank you again for inspiration.

  • As a biologist, I like this kind of video. I'd tell you to step your graph game up slightly. But I was honestly impressed with the layout of the presented data. 9/10 would send off for approval for publication. Also kinda a stickler for conciseness of presentation as it makes it easier to follow in my opinion, and its typically what I aim for when writing. But you're not a scientist writing for scientific publications, so it's all chill. Looking forward to seeing more

  • why is every or the most discus aquarium so ugly???? i think it is not a positiv point to do that with a fish!! it is not natural, and yes they say nothing. a better maintenance and controlling is not a point to have no basics in the aquarium.
